Question corriline alge

can any tellme how 2 grow corriline alge my tank has been set up 4 a year with lots of live rock hermits snails fish and brittle stars and sand sifting stars i can grow culpura and bubble agle have no brown slime and 0amonia 0nitrite 0nitrate corriline is growing on rock that i have purchased but isnt spreading over everthing like i have seen in other tanks caribsea do a product called purple up which claims 2 help corriline alge grow when added 2 the tank in question is there any proven way 2 help me grow this elusive alge

You need good lighting, at least 4w x each gallon of water
You need to keep your calcium and magnesium levels at the correct range. What calcium supplement are you using?
Ive used purpleup and its good, but not a miracle product.

Coralline algae comes with time to an established tank.
Purple up is just the latest snake oil and is a total waste of money. One of the primary ingredients is aragonite, which is not soluble in salt water.
With stable parameters, your tank will be covered in coralline. Then you can spend countless hours scraping it off everything.
