Default Algae pest

My new 400 litre tank is still cycling, but I have some algae slime growing on Java moss. I have just fitted reflectors on the tubes but it had established itself before that. I have read somewhere how to deal with it but cannot remember where. I am on holiday all next week, and fear when I return, the tank will be swamped in it. Could any one help before I go away?

Yes its true, if we do not care our tank for a week its have so much chances of getting annoying algae spread out problem. So we have no other option but keep its good care. So I have shrimps and chines snails in my pond. It eat algae so now I don't have any worries regarding algae.

Every new planted tank, plants start off fast to avoid algae problems. associated with the cause of algae to take over the plants for nutrients. If the slow-growing plants have been introduced to the tank, it is likely that algae take over. CO2 helps reduce algae problems.
