Default Do I need MH(metal halides) lights to keep corals?

Can I use fluorescent instead of metal halides lights for my corals?

nop it deppends on what you want to have in your tank most of soft corals do well in pc. if you see you self doing hard corals then you need it. remember it should be 3 to 6 watt per gallon and a chiller to control the temp.

Yeah it all depends on what type of corals you are breeding, you would mostly just need a chiller thats what i use.

I started with T5's and changed to MH's and wouldn't change back for the world. MH's are much better IMO.
