ScienceDaily (Dec. 4, 2007) — Finally, some good news about the prospects of coral reefs in the age of climate change. According to a new study by the Wildlife Conservation Society, corals may actually survive rising ocean temperatures in 'tough love' seas with wide-ranging temperatures.

I'm finding several articles of interest here. That there is this adaptibility (which in my beginning learning I didn't know) is encouraging, especially that conservationists have a way to focus their efforts.
