Question new fish

I want to add new fish to live with my tangs. What do you recommend? I'm having trouble understanding how many fish per tank and the types of fish that live together peacefully.

Your advice would be appreciated.

I'm sorry, I was a bit tired last night and completely miswrote that first sentence.

I started off small with a marroon clown fish, anenemone and 30 gallon tank, but I would like to add a tang. (sorry about that)

From what I've read I need a minimum of a 55 gallon tank, and can't find anything if the clownfish and tangs are compatible. Do I have enough room and what kind of tang would be ok?

Hi there Guppy, Yes Tangs and clowns would be ok together but the problem will be the 30 gallon tank, it is too small for a Tang to live in for the long term. 55 gallons is the recomended starting point for tangs. However if you start with a very small tang and plan to move into a larger tank in the near future then it would be ok for a while. If you can get a chance go on our website and you'll find some good info on different fish that is good for the nano or small tank. Hope that helps and WELCOME to the forum !

You can add angel fish and goldfish and koi fish also. As I have in my tank, they all live peacefully and happy life as I think.
