Default Orca tl-450 newly setup

hi, i am 15 years old and have just started a nano reef. Ihave 5 kilos of LR and 2" of live sand.I have removed the orcas bio balls and ceramic rings and replaced it with LR rubble. My question is:how long do i have to wait until my tank is cycled?I know it takes about 2-4weeks but i read that with fully cured rock(only 10 mins in packaging and journey) the process takes only a few days. thanks tomo p.s. i wil try and upload sum pictures soon

If you use fully cured live rock and live sand, it will cycle almost instantly.
Also using water from a cycled tank or real ocean water that you can buy from your lfs will help.
Anyway, when ammonia and nitrates read 0 you are good to go.
I have an 12 gallon aquapod which I added fish and coral on day 1, I used live sand, fully cured live rock and real ocean water. I had no problem and its running even better than my 75 reef tank.

Oh I forgot, on the first chamber I have the regular sponge, on the second a bag of Seachem Purigen and a UV filter running only at night with a timer, on the third chamber I have a bag of Phos-Zorb.
Also I have a Rio Nano Skimmer running 24/7.
Hope this helps.
