Question 12 gallon nano reef

hi im thinking of setting up a nano reef in a 12 gallon orca tl-450. With 5 kg of LR and undecided amount of live sand. I would like to know which anemone i could use as a home for 2 ocelaris clownfish. Ive looked but cant find one that doesnt eat other fish or is too big. I would also like to know some easy corals to try.

thanks tomo

you can try some mushroom corals

not all clowns host an anemone, but you can try a rose anemone or carpet anemone(too big for your tank). Or get a Clark clown or tomato clown instead, they are more probable to host almost any anemone, specially the tomato.

anemones and corals dont make the best of friends in a small environment so if you were to get one, they'll sting eachother and the anemone will probably win.

i agree with naldopr, but if are stuck in having a anemones.the rose anemone hands down wins the contest. they are the best anemones for a reef system in my opinoin.

As with most all-in-one nano systems, I don't think you will have sufficient lighting to accomidate an anemone with out upgrading your lighting. I would suggest keeping that in mind as well to have a healthy anemone. Hope that helps.

MH lighting is perfect for keeping the majority of anemones.
