Seems to me I've read a thread on another forum about someone getting poisoned by the zoanthids palytoxin. They got through it ok. But one of the symptoms was a metallic taste in the mouth.
I do know it's one of the most toxic poisons in the world and there is no cure. That's why it's recommended to wear gloves, eye protection, and wash your hands very well after handling zoas.
I have personally handled and fragged many colonies will no ill effects.
