On a side note, I have my fuge beside the window and I run my lights on a reverse light cycle. It gives me the advantage of a 24/7 light cycle. I have successfully been growing the dreaded grape caulrpa for a long time with out it going sexual.
As far as displays though, I was just reading that the sunlight spectrum is a lot different from what we as aquarist's use for keeping corals. In addition, corals that are propagated in green houses, under natural sunlight, can have a harder time adapting to hobby lighting.
